welcome.

First I decided to quit my old job and fully commit to tattooing.

Then I worked at a friend’s shop for 6 months before realizing that I just needed to branch out and do my own thing,

So, I found a small studio space in the Phenix Salon Suites in Norwalk, CT, and set sail on my own personal journey as a female tattoo artist.

And by taking this giant leap, back on October 8, 2021, I was able to meet so many lovely and diverse people through this business. Their stories ranged from life experiences similar to mine, what their personal experiences were with the tattoo industry (especially as women being tattooed by men), and sometimes - my favorite times - just connecting over hilarious events, common interests, etc.

Thus began this archival of my tattoo adventures - because learning to tattoo on your own is quite hard in this industry, opening my first woman-owned business, and my personal growth in an industry that’s really starting to develop inclusivity,

What do I plan to write here? EVERYTHING. Maybe some anxieties and fears. Hopefully a lot of good times and laughs. Tips I’ve learned throughout my time doing this. Awesome (AND) shitty client experiences. And all that’s in-between.

Welcome to my blog.
